The release of Revelation is so close. The manuscript is written, and I’ve been editing furiously with the help of several friends. I had been hoping to get it out by the end of the year, but it’s already December 19 and I’m not quite done with some of the revisions I need to do, so I’m going to aim for an early 2016 release. I’ll likely post the first couple of chapters online in a few weeks so everyone can see what’s coming.
And that brings me to what’s next. I have two different stories competing with each other for the second book in the series. The first one is supposed to be a more personal story: two close brothers struggling to move on with their lives after a kidnapping and reunion. (Don’t worry, there’s a significant sci-fi element.) The second one is more action-packed: people who society forgot used as unknowing pawns. I’ve written most of the first draft of the first idea, and several chapters of the second. They’re probably both going to end up in the series anyway, but it’s more a matter of how I want to continue things.
